Training Courses

by Tri-Grain Ltd

Tri Grain Ltd, which is a collaborative company set up between Tynegrain, North East Grains and Coastal Grains conducts training days for our farmers throughout the year.

There has been a lot of interest in the many courses we provide, and subsequently this service has been growing in popularity. The courses run throughout the year and we aim to cater to our farmers' specific training requirements.

We understand that many of these courses are now legal requirements. Current legislation dictates that all operators of a telescopic handler forklift truck should have attended a full training course, earning a certificate once successfully completed which certifies the driver for 5 years. A refresher course must be completed, which compromises only of a practical driving test, after this time has elapsed.

Our qualified instructor has been holding these training days for both full and refresher courses since the service was started. He is also qualified to train and certify counter balance fork lift trucks, loading shovels and mobile elevated work platforms along with both pivot steer and rigid telescopic handlers.
