STORAGE

TASCC accredited facilities across Northern England and Scotland including specialist malting barley storage facilities.

DRYING

GrainCo operates its own drying and storage facilities for grain and oilseeds throughout the North of England and Scotland. In addition we contract-in additional drying and storage capabilities as clients require it.

SHIPPING & HAULAGE

We can move produce from farm to storage to port. We operate a bulk haulage fleet, and we have access to our own and all the key ports along the the east cost, from Scotland down to Lincolnshire. We are a gateway to European and World markets.

MARKETING

The GrainCo pool has consistently been one of the best performing marketing pools in the UK over the last 24 years. Our pools cover wheat, barley and oilseed rape with the aim to market growers grain in an effective manner, ensuring pool members receive good returns year on year. We have 3 pools for each commodity - Harvest, Short and Long.

WHAT WE DO

SEEDS

We provide our farmer customers with a wide portfolio of top quality seeds and seed dressings, to suit all requirements. The seeds come from our own Seed Plant, and are complemented by seeds sourced from trusted suppliers.

HOW WE DO IT

We continuously monitor changes within national and global farming policy, in correlation with world crop and currency markets to identify factors that will change the market prices.

Our ability to track these changes allows the farmer to produce crops with confidence by knowing their best interests are being looked after by GrainCo.

At GrainCo we celebrate the fact we have strong long-standing trading links with companies based within the UK and abroad.
